Downtown Family Session {Williston Portrait Photographer}

When I think of Billie, I think of a person who is giving, kind, honest, and unbelievable caring. She is the glue that holds her family together, and words don’t do justice to the kind of friend she is to me, so hopefully the pictures will do justice to the person she is!This photo session was originally scheduled for last fall, but life and all its craziness had other plans.  When we finally rescheduled the shoot, we talked about going somewhere south of Culbertson, MT, but our weather turned cold quickly and we lost all the fall foliage faster than normal. Plan B was to go downtown, and I’m so glad we did. We went to four different locations all within a few block radius and got a great variety of backgrounds.The three girls were naturals, and we had a lot of fun capturing their personalities. Kailin’s beauty is only rivaled by her determination and strength. Brecklyn’s outgoing nature shines brightly and even though Miah does not like getting her picture taken (mom mentioned it after the fact and I had no idea), the camera absolutely loved her! When I got a few pictures of mom and dad together, it was evident just how much love there is between them. The way Casey looked at Billie made it clear that he recognizes and appreciates the amazing woman he has. And she’s pretty smitten with him, too!While I was taking a few snapshots of Billie by herself, I was trying to make her laugh, so I said, “This would be perfect for the cover of AARP….forty and fabulous edition!” Later that night, when I sent her sneak peak, she responded with the picture of her, edited to look like it was on the AARP cover.  It had me laughing all over again.Just like our last family session, we ended the night going out to dinner at the WBC, because she and her family are more than just clients, they are friends who became family!
