We started Trygve’s senior session at the Agre building, right where he’s spent so much time on the ice. Beginning somewhere familiar always settles things in quickly.
We headed straight to the rink for hockey photos and grabbed some action shots while he was out there skating. He moved easily, comfortable in his space. After the rink, we slowed things down and grabbed a few portraits in the hallway before shifting locations again.

From there, we moved into the locker room to get some photos at his locker. I always love this part of a session it feels personal with all their gear.
At one point, he and his dad started playing ping-pong, and of course we grabbed a few of those too. It was relaxed and natural, and I just let it happen.

Next stop was Spring Lake Park. We walked down by the lake and took advantage of the fall foliage while it was showing off a little. The colors gave us a completely different look than the rink.
We also pulled out his letterman jacket for a few photos, which felt like such a classic senior moment. It added another layer to the session and gave us some great variety.

Our final stop was Eagle Ridge Golf Course. We moved around to a couple different holes while he played.
As the light started to drop, we leaned into it and let sunset wrap things up. By the time the sun dipped, that was the end of the night.
