This week’s Senior Sunday is all about Liv Mitson, and let me tell you—her session was an absolute blast from start to finish! Liv is a senior at Williston High School, and she brought such an effortless mix of fun, style, and personality to her session.

Studio Session: Capturing Liv’s Style

We kicked things off in the studio, where she showed up with the best outfit choices. Seriously, this girl knows how to style a look! Whether it was something sleek and modern or more laid-back and casual, Liv nailed every single one. I love when seniors bring a variety of outfits because it allows us to capture so many different sides of their personality. The studio was the perfect spot to play with lighting and backgrounds to complement her looks, and we had so much fun capturing it all.

Outdoor Adventure: Lewis & Clark State Park Senior Session

For the second half of the session, we headed out to Lewis & Clark State Park, which is always a favorite location of mine for Williston High School senior photos because of the variety it offers. We took photos on the buttes, giving us those dramatic, wide-open landscapes that make for such stunning portraits. Then we switched things up and got some shots in the trees, water, and tall grass—each setting bringing its own vibe to Liv’s gallery. One of my favorite parts of her session? Incorporating her people! We grabbed some photos with her boyfriend and her family, and I love how they added such a special, personal touch to the day. It’s always fun to capture those connections and make sure we’re freezing these moments in time for seniors and their loved ones.
