2023 Spring Mini Sessions

Mini sessions are an annual offering that I look forward to each and every year. I love my regular sessions too, but switching it up with minis is always a blast. There’s a great mix of session types, I get to see several new faces back-to-back, and I’m getting antsy now that my 2023 spring sessions are right around the corner.

A Session for Everyone

I love mini sessions for several reasons. First & foremost is that they’re versatile. From motherhood to couples, family to best friends, anything you can think of is appropriate for a mini session! The appeal for my clients is that these sessions are shorter, which is a huge perk if you have kids or a family member who is less than thrilled with the idea of the length of a typical shoot. In 30 minutes, we’re all wrapped up and you’re on your way to 15 beautiful images.

Room 222

This year, I’m renting a local Air BNB, Room 222, to use as my studio for the weekend. I recently visited the same space for a shoot with my daughter and niece, and it’s such a great space! I love shooting outdoors and few things compare to a romantic engagement session at golden hour or a fun family session with little ones twirling in the grass. However, indoor shots come with their own set of perks.

The Perks of Indoor Shoots

With indoor sessions, weather is no longer a consideration and that is especially helpful for planning wardrobes or for expectant mamas who don’t want to endure the elements. In fact, the weather isn’t an issue at all! This space has great natural light, exposed brick, and has such a cool feel over all. I can’t wait to see the photos at the end of the weekend!
