Future graduate {Williston senior photography}

Senior

 The best thing about the future is that is comes one day at a time. ~Abraham LincolnA person’s senior year of high school holds so many exciting, yet uncertain, times. From college applications to senior pictures to senior prom and graduation, the moments turn to memories in a blink of an eye, and the “real world” is right around the corner. Robert’s photo shoot was my first “senior” session, and my nerves were probably similar to his! I was completely out of my comfort zone, even practicing on my son in preparation for the shoot. I know Robert’s family, as we car pool and his sister is my daughter’s best friend, but I did not know Robert. Going into the shoot, I knew from his mother that he was not excited, but that he would be a good sport for the session. Through both of our “nerves,” it was one of the BEST photo shoots I have had to date. Robert’s easy-going personality and amazing dimples helped make it a great experience. Our last location was at the tennis court and when we arrived there his brother was playing a tennis game with a friend. I noticed how nice they were to one another and how much they genuinely like each other, and I couldn’t help but hope my boys treat each that way when they are older. The time flew by and before we knew it, an hour and a half had gone by. As the sun set, we wrapped up the session, visiting about Robert’s future plans for college and their upcoming visit to his pick. What an exciting time in Robert’s life, and I was lucky enough to capture a small part of it as he prepares to begin his journey beyond high school.closeup of senior male on stairwayblack and white of senior boy walking on mainstreet Senior boy leaning on bike rack black and white checker wall with future graduate senior boy sitting in front of volks wagon bus senior boy leaning against wall senior boy on tennis court
